Devonport took their highest placing in recent years finishing 11th from 16 participating teams in the 2007 Inter-club Championships held at Central Park on Sunday 28th January. Teams from around the county and from all divisions enjoyed a highly competitive day. Plymouth Leander were this years winners with 554 points, Barnstable with 528 points and Dinnaton took 3rd 425 points.
Swimmers finishing in the top six in their respective age groups included Rebekah James competing in the 11 and under 50m butterfly (39.43) and 50m freestyle (33.30) took 6th place in both events. Ryan Moreno-Chamorro had 5th place overall in the 15 and under 100m breaststroke, (1.20.80.) Sinead Davies took 6th overall in the 11 and under 50m breastroke (44.01.) Nat Chartres swam a strong race to take 4th overall from the 13 and under 50m breastroke (38.30.)
