Devonport Royal Swimming Association’s news and other information
The Western Counties relays took place on Sunday 20th May at Millfield. Devonport sent two teams, the boys 13/14 and 15/16 years.
Fantastic swims came from all our competitors. In particular an excellent performance from the boys 13/14 team of Tom Morse, Tom Mermagen, Peter Gates and Nat Chartres, who took bronze in the freestyle in an excellent new PB of 1.52.31 and then finished 5th in the medley relay.
The 15/16 year age group team of Chris Philpot, Ryan Moreno-Charmorro, Danny Banks and Jordan Nicholson had PB’s in both relays, finishing 5th in the medley and 7th in the freestyle. Well done to both of the succsessful teams, to head coach Terry Mansell for his support and expertise, and Linda Davis for her team support.
