Devonport Royal Swimming Association’s news and other information
Sat 30th June and Sun 1st July were the first two days of the Devon Development Gala’s at the Pyramid’s, Exeter.
On Saturday Devonport were represented by Angus Robertson, Kirsty Dinham and Charlotte Roberts. Kirsty came away with our top placing of 2nd in the 11yr 100m butterfly (1.41.68) with Charlotte 4th in the same event (1.49.05).
Devonport was well represented on Sunday by Beki, Daniel and Michael Warren, Laura Moreno-Chamorro, Rebecca Ward, Sam Bowden, Jacob Roberts, Aaron Nicholson and Nat Chartres. Top placing went to Nat who was 2nd in the 14yr 100m freestyle (1.02.59) and 3rd in the 14yr 200m Breastroke (3.03.75). Sam finished 6th in both the 12yr 100m backstroke and 100m freestyle. Daniel was 5th in the 12yr 200m breastroke and Rebecca was 5th in the 12yr 100m backstroke.
Well done to all the swimmers and a big thank you to the parents who helped on poolside.
