Tiverton Sparkler Meet 3/11/07

Four swimmers from Devonport Royal made the journey to the Exe Valley Leisure Centre to take part in the 1st Tiverton Sparkler Meet.

Nat Chartres (14yrs) worked hard in his 5 events and came away with 1st in the 50m Freestyle and 200m Freestyle, 2nd in the 100m Breaststroke and 100m Backstroke, and 3rd in the 100m Freestyle.

Samual Roberts (9yrs) competed strongly in his four events and came away with two 3rd places in the 50M and 200M Breaststroke.

Charlotte Roberts (11yrs) competed well in the 100M Breaststroke, 50M Freestyle and 200M Breaststroke events.
Jacob Roberts (14yrs) again competed very well in the 200M Freestyle and 50M Freestyle events.
Well done to our swimmers who competed well and came away with Trophies, medals, PBs and their free topical bonfire night gift at the end. Also thanks to Cassie Roberts and Jon Chartres for being on pool-side and thank-you to Tiverton Swimming Club for an extremely well orgainised and very enjoyable event.
