Devonport Royal Swimming Association’s news and other information
Tiverton was again the venue for the 3rd weekend of the Devon County Championships.
Devonport had a number of swimmers in action, notably Kirsty Dinham, Nat Chartres, Ryan Moreno-Chamorro, Sinead Davies, Jordan Nicholson and Tom Mermagen.
Ryan Moreno-Chamorro made the 100m breaststroke final for 15 year olds, and took a 4th place overall. Ryan also clinched a 6th spot for his efforts in the 50m backstroke. Alongside him Nat Chartres (14yrs) also had a 6th place overall in his age group, in the same event. Top eight placing’s saw Kirsty Dinham (12yrs) take 8th in the tough 800m freestyle.
Matching this Tom Mermagen (15yrs) took the same final position for the 400m freestyle and 100m butterfly.
